Fit n fiesty!

Ello lovelies!
So I'm so busy that it's really hard for me to post as much as I'd like to so I decided I'd try to post once a week and I'll post 3 different post. One for fitness, one for life in general, and one about work. Sense a week or twos worth of blogging material will be A LOT to write in just one post.

*listening to Landon Pigg*
Okay so...the last two weeks have been more successful than I thought. I haven't lost a ton more, I think only a couple of pounds but what I gained has so much more merit. Not gonna lie the past two weeks have been a struggle but, a lot easier than I could have ever imagined. The first week was the hardest, trying to keep my mind positive was tough but the second week was a lot easier. I just keep shutting out all those negative thoughts out. Sometimes they are too strong and I lose but not very often and I'm still trying so I give myself credit for not giving up. :) My sister reminded me of a quote that I'd like to share..."Everyday is a fight sometimes you win but sometimes you lose." Demi Lovato Now I'm not sure if that's exact or not but pretty close if not.

My sister made me realize I'll have to fight this for the rest of my life but the harder and longer I fight the easier it will be. So I'm waiting for my easy.

So I took some pics of the things I was telling you guys about in my last post. :) I love pictures!! :)
Look below for those! :D

Race to 60 miles: Well sadly I lost. :( 1st place goes to my friend Matty, he went crazy on the bike and was way ahead. :) Congrats to him! 2nd place goes to my freind Bree..she beat me while I was on my way to the gym to finish 3 miles. :(  But even though I lost I gained so much! I proved to myself that even working 11 hour days I can go to the gym and push myself as far as I want. :) I also realized how much endurance I have. I also learned that shin splints hurt! :( lol

So TODAY!!! we start another race to 60 miles but this one we can only count miles done by running or walking. This one is going to be tough but I'm so excited. Now that I know these kids are not messing around I'm really going to give it all I've got! :D I've got an unstoppable game plan and I'm ready to take em DOWN!
Contenders: ME
                   Bree
                   Jenny
Matty and his friend. Oh and his friend thinks she can do it in 10 days...talk about uping the anti. sheesh. I told him I'd be in a wheel chair at the end of this race. lol

So...here we go Day 1. I'll be back to let you know I won! :)

I'm back!

Hey guys,
My title makes me think of that Eminem song I'm back...nu nu nunna nuna nun! haha funny stuff!
So I diapered for like ever. Sorry about that, and as you can imagine I have not been doing "the plan". Sad I know. But here I go again(ha another song "on my own" dun dun!) lol okay sorry , here I go again with another plan. As I've already stated I've had many years of self hate and unhealthy ways of loosing weight which are harder to change than you think. Just keep a positive mind set and be healthy yeah yeah yeah, sounds easy right? It's anything but. When I start a diet err lifestyle change! It's so hard for me to do it the healthy way. It's like my little evil side peeks out and is yelling at me, "DO MORE! DO MORE! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" So yeah, it's really hard to keep a healthy mindset. I'm determined to shut that little voice up. This is my life and I'm in control. I started just a few days ago and I think maybe it's best for me to not have a plan...per say. Maybe it's best for me to have basic guidelines and just go from there. It's common sense to know what's healthy and what's not. So eating healthy, drinking tons of water and exercise. That's a pretty straightforward approach. I find the more rules I set the harder I am on myself. So this is the new "plan"!

I found a cool post by the lovely Lauren Conrad (just telling my friend how I'm not a fan of hers but this post persuaded me to have a change of heart. ha.) called "My Bikini Boot Camp Plan" although I'm not following this plan I am stealing her breakfast ideas...Brilliant stuff. So I thought I'd share the link with you guys.
Here you go:

My bestie and fitness inspiration Breanna Joy (hey she's got a blog and you should follow it) are doing a 60 mile challenge. Basically first one to complete 60 miles of walking, running, biking, elliptacaling( yeah I made that I word ;) wins! I'm already claiming myself the winner! :) I'm very competitive! We did 3 together and then 4 the other day. Now I'm on my own. Watch out Bree!!! ;)

Have you struggled with self hate, unhealthy means of loosing weight, self esteem issues, and or a million fad diets? Let's hear your story! Send me a private message with any questions, concerns, advice! I'd be more than happy to help anyone going through the same thing. :) Were all in this together!

Proud to annouce I've lost 11 pounds the healthy way!! :D Lots of exercise and controlled eating! No I'm not starving and I've even been eating regular food, just in moderation. You can do it too! :)

Here are some things that keep me motivated!
*Weighing...I know everyone tells you not to weigh everday, but for me this is motivating. I look at it in a healthy way. It's my daily reminder of why I'm making a lifestyle change, why I'm working so hard. Yes, this can be a negative thing for some so be sure to look at your number with a positive outlook. Also, it's not going to go down everyday and somedays it might even go up a pound due to water weight or gaining muscle. I think the most important weigh  in is the every 7 days one. Like say, every Monday you weigh and consider that your marker for how much you've lost. Because weight is just a number, it fluctuates like anything else. :)

*Visual Motivation: I have two jars one filled with 2 beads for every pound I want to loose and another I put the beads in once I've lost them. So I've lost 11 pounds, I transferred 22 beads into the pounds lost jar! :) I also have my weight from every Monday written on 2inch sticky notes going down the side of my calendar. It shows me how far I've come. Its like my getting a golden sticker every time I loose some pounds! :) I also have a blank peice of paper next to my jars to tally off how many pounds have gone to keep count of how many beads I've moved. So Visual motivation is very important to my success.

*Accountance: Let your friends and family keep you accountable. I would'nt say go around telling everyone your trying to loose weight is something to do. But letting those close to you know hey I'm making a lifestyle change by eating healthy and exercising might be the way to do it. Let them know of your accomplishments! After all positive praise is very motivating! Be proud of the strides your making to a better you! Make sure you tell positive people this and not those who want to challenge you or tear you down. Negative put down is no way to succeed in a positive mind set!

*Buddy system: As anything in life it's always easier when you have a buddy to do it with you. Now for all of us this can't be so maybe find someone who inspires you. My best friend Bree is so inspiring! I've seen her go from her highest weight to her lowest weight and keep it off. She's always finding new ways to stay fit and live a healthy lifestyle! She holds me accountable and encourages me. She has always been the one friend who reasures me I CAN do this! It's so nice to have someone who supports you that much! If you do not have a friend like this or someone who can inspire you I suggest finding a blog that inspires you! Maybe follow someone who has started around the same weight as you or just someone that you connect with what they are doing! If they can do it, you can do it!! :D

I hope this blog helps you to a healthy lifestyle change! :) Have a Super Stellar Sunday! I'll be on here tomorrow to talk about the first day of summer with the kids I watch! Yay! :D
